Absent: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />2) Authoi'ize Hiring of Building Inspector <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council authorize the hiring of Andrew <br />Schreder to tl~e position of Building Inspector at an annual salary of $42,952 (2003 rate). With <br />Council approval, Mr. Schreder's start date will be on or after January 14, 2004. <br /> <br />Motion by C0[uncilmember Cook and seconded by Councilmember Kurak to adopt Resolution <br />#04-01-011 adthorizing the hiring of Andrew Schreder for the position of Building Inspector. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Kurak, Elvig, Kurak, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />3) Authorize Hiring of Patrol Officer <br />The Personnei Committee recommended that the City Council authorize the hiring of Bradley <br />Bluml to the t~, sition of Patrol Officer at an annual rate of $37,350 (2003 rate-2004 rate yet to be <br />determined). All other personnel policies and LELS contract.provisiOns will apply normally. <br />With Council i authorization Mr. Bluml would begin employment with the City on or after <br />January 14, 2004.. <br /> <br />Motion by C6uncilmember Cook and seconded by Councilmember Kurak to adopt Resolution <br />#04-01-012 adthorizing the hiring of Bradley Bluml to the position of Patrol Officer. <br />Motion carrie~t[.
