NW Ramsey, MN 55303 To Whom It May Concern, I am wdting this letter in regards to apptying for a Home Occupation Permit from the City of Ramsey. I just recently became aware of the need for this permit after sending in the Business Registration form and fee that the city sent out in the fa[[ of 2003. Megan Wa[d from the City if Ramsey, notified me that was not in compliant with the city and needed to apply for this permit. I would also Like to give you some information regarding my business. I am a custom cabinet shop and have been operating it on my property for the past 17 years since I purchased the property in 1987. I have always run my business with the idea that it wou[d not affect my neighbors in anyway. I believe I have accomplished this for the entire 17 years I have been here. I have not had any complaints from neighbors. I have kept traffic down to a minimaL, with only 2 or 3 [umber deliveries per month on average. My shop is air-condition, so I work with the doors and windows dosed at att times, there is virtuatLy no noise from the shop. I also employee only one employee and that is my son-in-[aw, so I only have one additional vehicle parked by my shop. I normaLLy meet my customers at their home, so there is no additional traffic from that respect. I also keep a very weLL maintained yard and property, You would never know from driving by my property that a business is bein~ operated from these premises.
