Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Pearson, Kurak, Cook, Elvig, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmerman. ANNOUNCEMENT Mayor Gamec noted that the City of Ramsey and the City of Anoka will be holding a Northstar Corridor Rally at Anoka Technical College on February 12th at 7:00 p.m. COUNCIL BUSINESS Case #1: Public Hearing: Request for Vacation of Easement in Tranby Terrace 2nd Addition; Case of Robert Letendre Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:19 p.m. Presentation Community Development Director Frolik stated that the City Council recently approved the plat of Letendre Addition. Letendre Addition is a replat of Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, Tranby Terrace 2nd Addition into three rural single-family lots. Each of the two pre-existing lots in Tranby Terrace 2''~ Addition contained the standard drainage and utility easements around the perimeter. Also, Lot 3 of Tranby Terrace 2~d Addition contained a 33 foot wide drainage and utility easement along the north boundary to apparently preserve a corridor in the event 171s' Avenue were extended to the west of Tiger Street. The easements dedicated around the perimeter of the reconfigured lots in Letendre Addition conflict with the easements that were dedicated as part of Tranby Terrace 2"a Addition. The process of replatting does not vacate any pre-existing easements of record. The only way to eliminate the pre-existing easements of record is by City Council ordinance.
