PROCEEDINGS CF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANCKA OOUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 24, <br />1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City A~]ministrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />Merland Otto of Hakanson-Anderson Associates <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />The public hearing regarding Mr. James Meyer's request for an amusement <br />center and billiard tables license was advertised to be held on May 24, <br />1988 at 7~00 p.m. and was prior to the usual call to order time for City <br />Council meetings (7:30 p.m.). <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Barb Graen - 7321 150th Lane N.W. - Ms. Graen recalled that in April of <br />1987, some citizens requested that City Council investigate the safety <br />aspect of Cty. Rd. #56 in the vicinity of Tom Thumb; City Council requested <br />that Anoka County do a safety study; in January of 1988, following the <br />completion of the study, Councilmember Cox announced that a crossm~alk would <br />be installed by the Tom Thumb store; to date, no crosswalk has been <br />installed. <br /> <br />City Council directed Mr. Hartley to follow-up on Ramsey's request for a <br />crosswalk by contacting Anoka County. <br /> <br />Terry DeGideo- 17331 Chameleon- Requested an update from Police Chief <br />Auspos regarding his request for speed and children playing signs on <br />Chameleon. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that Mr. DeGideo's request is Case #19 on the agenda. <br /> City Council/May 24, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 4 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
