Absent: Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Coun¢ilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />approve the following items contained in the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Renewal of off-sale liquor licenses for Discount 10 Liquor and M&L <br />Liquor for 1988. <br /> <br />Renewal of on-sale/Sunday Liquor licenses for Super Bowl, Inc. and <br />J.R.'s Saloon and BBQ Club for 1988. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Renewal of non-intoxicating liquor licenses for 1988 for the Tom Thumb <br />Superette, Brooks Superette (Armstrong Blvd.), Brooks Superette (St. <br />Francis Blvd.), On-The-Green Restaurant, LeTourneau's Super Valu, Food- <br />n-Fuel. <br /> <br />4) Bottle club/set-up license for On-The-Green Restaurant for 1988. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />Gambling license request of the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department at the <br />St. Anthony Gun Club on September 11, 1988. <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution #88-95 approving first half bills for the month of <br />June, 1988 in the amount of $202,489.13 . <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson was of the opinion that the fertilizer purchased <br />was high priced. Council directed Councilmember Pearson to meet with <br />Public Works Superintendent Merle Mevissen to discuss fertilizer types <br />and prices. <br /> <br />7) <br /> <br />Receipt of petition for local improvement to pave 156th Avenue N.W. and <br />Hematite Street N.W. and adopt Resolution #88-95a declaring adequacy of <br />petition and ordering the preparation of a feasibility report. (Refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution #88-95a). <br /> <br />8) <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution #88-96 approving plans and specifications and ordering <br />advertisement for bids for Sealcoating Improvement Projects #88-2, 3, <br />4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. (Refer to resolution file for Resolution #88-96). <br /> <br />9) Performance of cash audit in conjunction with Noel Graczyk's <br /> resignation. <br /> <br />10) Receipt of petition opposing street improvements in Caroline Acres. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None.
