Community Development Director Gladhill stated revenue for Building Permits only covers a <br />portion of the City's activities, which are part of the General Fund as well, so the City is not <br />charging more than needed to cover costs. He stated staff held back on increases but an increase <br />is needed at this time to meet the customer's demands for turnaround times. <br />City Administrator Ulrich noted the Council Chambers is listed for the first time as a rentable <br />facility as the PACT School had expressed interest. <br />The consensus of the Council was to support the 2015 Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges and <br />acknowledged it would be considered, as presented tonight, for introduction at the November 12, <br />2014, Council meeting. <br />2.04: Discussion on Options for Existing Tanker Being Replaced <br />This Case was considered prior to Case 2.01. <br />3. TOPICS FOR FUTURE DISCUSSION <br />Finance Director Lund stated the 2015 Budget will be discussed at the next Work Session <br />meeting. <br />City Administrator Ulrich asked if the Council would support scheduling a Work Session to <br />discuss the Assessment Policy on November 18, 2014, starting at 5:30 p.m. This would be prior <br />to the Public Works Committee meeting. <br />The consensus of the Council was to support holding a Work Session on November 18, 2014. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated he will provide the Council with a self evaluation by the end of <br />this week and it will be considered by the Council at the second meeting in November. <br />4. MAYOR / COUNCIL / STAFF INPUT <br />Councilmember Kuzma asked about the date for the Governor's visit to kick off the <br />announcement of the improvement to the Highway 10 Corridor. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated it is expected to occur the week after the election. <br />5.
