Motion by Councilmember Tossey, seconded by Councilmember Riley, to Introduce Ordinance <br />414-14, An Amendment to Chapter 117 of the City Code, which Chapter is known as Zoning and <br />Subdivisions of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota, Amending Sections 117-118 The COR of <br />the Ramsey City Code. <br />Further discussion: Councilmember LeTourneau stated this Council has pushed away the <br />Purchase Agreement and eliminated the deal so the City could look at it holistically and do what <br />is right for the community. Once the ordinance amendment is considered, the City will entertain <br />any Purchase Agreement that is submitted. Councilmember Kuzma stated there is no Purchase <br />Agreement on the table at this time and if the ordinance is amended, it will be open to all to <br />submit a Purchase Agreement. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Pro Tem Backous, Councilmembers Tossey, Riley, Johns, <br />Kuzma, and LeTourneau. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Strommen. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the opportunity for absentee voting and announced <br />upcoming meetings and Halloween events. He encouraged all to take advantage of monthly <br />bystander CPR training and provided an update on construction projects. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Backous reported on a life saved in Plymouth by someone who had received <br />training from Heart Healthy. <br />Councilmember Riley reminded all to vote next Tuesday. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Riley, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 8:09 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kurtis G.
