_Addition; Case Of Mr. Art Raudio:

Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Raudio is requesting preliminary plat approval
of HY-10 Ramsey 4th Addition, the resubdivision of Lot 1, Block 1, HY-IO
Ramsey 3rd Addition. The subdivision would create two 4.4 acre parcels and
one 5.3 acre parcel. Planning and Zoning recommended approval with Ferret
Street being extended to the northern boundary and access to the eastern
lot from Ferret. Mr. Raudio is now requesting that the 5 acre parcel be
designated as an outlot for resubdivision purposes at a future date. Ms.
Norris stated that it was not specifically stated but she assumes the
Planning C~mmission imtemded Ferret to be a temporary cul-de-sac with Mr.
Raudio providng a 66 foot easement for the future extension of Ferret to
the northern boundary.

Coun. cil reviewed aerial maps of the area to be sure the wetland does not
prohibit construction of Ferret Street to the northern boundary.

Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to
approve the preliminary plat of HY-10 Ramsey 4th Addition in accordance
with the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City
Engineer, including the extension of Ferret Street through the property to
the northern boundary.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg,
DeLuca~ Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None.

Mr. Raudio inquired if the motion included designating the 5 acre parcel as
outlot.

Mr. Hartley replied that an outlot designation is not necessary for
resubdivision.

Mr. Raudio stated that he feels an outlot designation indicates intended
future resubdivision; he intends to subdivide the lot into 4, with two
accessing onto Armstrong and two onto Ferret.

Mr. Hartley replied that Mr. Raudio will be better able to achieve that
future resubdivision if the lot remains as platted. Mr. Hartley also noted
that staff will recommend that City Council deny access from Armstrong
Blvd.

Council recessed at 9:00 p.m.

Mayor Reimann called the meeting back to order at 9:15 p.m.

Case #5:. Request For Preliminary Pi~ Approval Of Green Valley .Estates
2nd Addition; Case Of Mr. Gerald Bauer;

Ms. Norris stated that Gerald Bauer is requesting preliminary plat approval
of a subdivision of Lot 3 and Outlots A and B in Green Valley Estates.
Green Valley Estates 2nd Addition will include 23 single family lots.
Planning and Zoning recommended approval contingent upon meeting the
conditions outlined in the City Engineer's report dated August 18, 1988.
City Council/August 23, 1988
