The low bidder was the Executone ECX <br />System. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />adopt resolution #88-1~ accepting proposals and authorizing the Mayor and <br />City Administrator to enter into an agreement to provide an Executone ECX <br />electronic key telephone system for the City of Ramsey Municipal Center <br />Building. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 413: 1988 Ce~¢r~l Park Improvements. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto reported that bids have been received for several improvement <br />items necessary to complete the Park Center Project at Central Park. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />accept bids and award the following contract for certain improvement items <br />at Central Park: <br /> <br />A. Septic system for Park Center - Ever Ready Excavating <br />B. Grading of ballfields, access roads and parking lot - <br /> Burton Kraabel - $10,550.00 <br />C. Installation of Class V - WB Miller - $3,978.50 <br /> <br />$1,648.50 <br /> <br />Further diBcussion. Mr. Otto noted that specs are being prepared for the <br />well. Mayor Reimann stated that the City should have made use of the <br />former $orteberg well. Mr. Raatikka replied that the cost to run lines <br />from that well to the Park Center is greater than the cost to install a new <br />well. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #14; Proposed Mn/DOT cooperative a~reement projects. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the City has received approval for certain <br />projects under the Mn/DOT Cooperative agreement funds.
