Motion by Councilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />adopt Resolution #88-193 vacating the north 50 feet of the drainage <br />easements on Lots 3 and 4, Block 3, Woodland Green. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7.: ~tequest ~or Final Plat Approval Of HY.-10 Ramsey 4th Addition; <br /> Case Of Mr. Norm Holm: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that Norm Holm is requesting final plat approval of HY-10 <br />Ramsey 4th Addition. This plat consists of 3 lots averaging 4.7 acres in <br />size and located north of the railroad and west of Armstrong Blvd. Mr. <br />Otto stated that staff is recommending final plat approval contingent upon <br />Ferret Street being extended to the northern boundary of the plat and <br />access to Lot 3 being limited to Ferret Street. <br /> <br />Mr. Art Raudio - 1404 South Broadway, Sauk Rapids - Stated that he is <br />present representing Norm Holm and requests further consideration of Ferret <br />Street being constructed as a cul-de-sac into the plat and providing <br />easement for future extension of Ferret to the northern boundary of the <br />plat. Mr. Raudio stated that the developer also wishes to have Lot 3 <br />designated as outlot to reflect that it may be further subdivided in the <br />future; this process would allow flexibility in marketing the property and <br />avoid the property tax increase that comes with platted lots. Mr. Raudio <br />stated that although the developer agreed to plat HY-IO 4th with no access <br />onto Cry. Rd, #83, he is not agreeing to never having that access. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that there is no need to document possible future access <br />to Cty. Rd. #83 at this time. At the time application is made to further <br />subdivide Lot 3, access requirements will be reviewed. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />adopt Resolution #88-194 approving the final plat of HY-10 Ramsey 4th <br />Addition amended to indicate that Ferret Street N.W. will be constructed as <br />a cul-de-sac with an easement dedicated for the possible future extension <br />of Ferret Street to the northern boundary of the plat and access to Lot 3 <br />being limited to Ferret Street N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
