APPROVE MINUTES Motion by Commissioner Olds, seconded by Commissioner Lehman, to approve the following Park and Recreation Commission Regular Meeting Minutes: 1) Park and Recreation Commission Regular Meeting Minutes dated December 4, 2003 2) Park and Recreation Commission Work Session Meeting Minutes dated December 4, 2003 Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Olds, Lehman, LaMere, Ostrum, Pontius and Shryock. Voting No: None. Absent: None. COMMISSION BUSINESS Case #1: Master Trail Plan Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood explained that for the past several months, the Commission has been receiving draft sections of the Master Trail Plan, and directing feedback to LHB, the consulting firm assembling the document. The process is generally on schedule. Parks/Utilities Supen, isor Riv~erblood stated the review tonight will be on the chapter addressing the 'Regional Context of Trails' and to consider the sectionalized trail map of the City depicting the. existing and proposed trails. '" Chairperson Johns stated she did not have time to look over the chapter. Commissioner Rolfe stated LHB did a good job. Commissioner Olds suggested they should make the maps more legible and place them in a landscape format. Chairperson Joln~s stated the maps and images are blurry and the pages are out of order. Parks/Utilities :Supervisor Riverblood stated he found some typos and there are number of clarifications needed. He will compare his to Commissioner Shryock's comments. Chairperson Johns stated LHB would accept changes for the next few weeks. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated the Commission should lo0k at each section and review them for readability. They should also look for space to insert photos. Consensus of the Con~nission was to email chapter comments to Mr. Chmielewski. No action necessary.
