Maintenance Categories for Turf Adjacent to Trails <br /> <br />Categorizing the level of tr,'dl maintenance intensity for various routine maintenance tasks kids in <br />the prioridzadon of what work needs to get completed, xvhere it needs to be completed, and how <br />much time and money can be spent onI the completion of the work. '(, <br /> <br />The table below establishes guidelines for the level of maintenance for three dif£drent'c~eg$ri~s of <br />trails. The goal in all cases is to achieve an opdmal level of turf quality within the given "maintenance <br />variable." The maintenance variable wilt be assigned to each trail at the beginning of the )Tear <br />based on the age of the trail, the amount of use, the current condition, and available funding.
