Coordinato~; the fact that as a maintenance worker he earned premium pay <br />for operat~n§ heavy equipment was overlooked; as a result, he received less <br />money for the position he was promoted into. The Personnel Committee has <br />reviewed ~he situation and recommended that Mr. Boos' rate of pay be <br />increased to $10.58/hour. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />adjust Mr. Mark Boos' rate of pay to $10.58/hour. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR ~D COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />a) Food shelf program - <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann explained how LeTourneau's Super Valu is cooperating with the <br />Anoka County Food Shelf Program and encouraged citizens to participate. <br /> <br />b) Damaged Pine trees along Puma - <br /> <br />Councilmem~er Pearson stated that citizens are expressing a concern for the <br />fire hazard presented by the damaged Pine trees accumulated along Puma. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley explained that it is not City policy to go onto private <br />property amd remove trees. The Public Works and Police Departments have <br />been alerted to keep a close watch on the situation. <br /> <br />Councilmem~er DeLuca noted that Burlington Northern's acceptance of the <br />fire bill implies responsibility which should include restitution and clean- <br />up of the area. Councilmember DeLuca suggested that Mr. Goodrich contact <br />the property owner to verify whether or not Burlington Northern is being <br />pursued for restitution and clean-up of the area. <br /> <br />Counci] requested that City Staff report back in one week regarding the <br />status of removal of damaged Pine trees. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS (CONTINUED): <br /> <br />C_~ Reauest To Rezona Lots 2 And 3. Block 1. Bulow's Addition. <br /> From B-1 Business To R-lU Residential; Case Qf Amthur Bulow: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart noted that Mr. Bulow is requesting approval to rezone Lots 2 <br />and 3, Bul~w's Addition from B-1 Business to R-1U Residential. Considering <br />Council action in Cases #4 and ~/5, Mr. Banwart recommended tabling rezoning <br />any lots until the issue of final plat approval is resolved with EQB and <br />Metro Coun¢ il. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />table action on Mr. Bulow's request for rezoning in Bulow's Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
