September 9~, 1988 <br /> <br />RAM~E"f FIRE DEPARTMENT MEETING <br /> <br /> Dave Bawden opened the meeting with opening remarks. <br /> <br /> He introduced the Fire ~afety Committee. Judy Thul passed out forms on <br /> <br />Fire Fighting I Training. <br /> <br /> Dave asked for volunteers for chairperson, and secretary. Jami Axt volunteered <br />for chairperson and Bruce Hoeke volunterred for secretary. <br /> <br />Three commi%tees were formed. <br /> <br />Equipmen~ Committee: <br /> <br />A1 Fjerstad <br />A1 Latour <br />Bill Rustadt + Chairperson <br />Steve W~lsom <br /> <br />Personae1 Equipment Committee <br /> <br />Chuck Williams <br />Bill Hogan <br />Gene Workman <br /> <br /> Communications Committee <br /> <br />A1 FjerBtad <br />Steve Engh ~' <br />Dean Kapler <br /> <br /> Meeting was tmrned over to Jamie Axt. A vote was taken and a Wednesday night <br />wam voted toilbe a regular meeting night. Meetings will be held at 7P.M. <br /> <br /> A1 Fjersead muggested a ride along to learn the City Of Ramsey. He willk <br />follow up wit~ the Police Chief. <br /> <br /> A question was asked when the Fire Department would be operational, and it <br />was stated t'~hat it would be 1 year to 2 years to be a seperate Fire Department, <br />not zupportedlby Anoka. <br /> <br /> A queatien was asked what the pay is per drill? Dave stated it would be <br />$5.00 per drill. <br /> <br /> The meeting was ajourned.
