Mr. Fjerstad inr~quired as to <br />department. <br /> <br />the role of the Fire Board <br /> <br />in approving requests from the <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that he and Mr, Hoeke would establish a reasonable budget and Mr, Hoeke <br />would have the ~authority to implement. Any items not included in the budget would be presented <br />to the Board for approval. He further stated that the primary role of the Fire Board is to <br />supporl the Fire. Department and to make recommendations to the City Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Bawden Staled that the original plan determined by the Fire Safety Committee was to meet <br />quarterly to update Board on overall operation of the Fire Department. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley refeYred to the ordinance recognizing the Fire Department, specifically the section <br />on the establishrnen! of the Fire Board. _ <br /> <br />Mr. Bawden stated that job descriptions should be reviewed periodically and coordinated with <br />Ms. Thul. <br /> <br />Case #8: ~ascade System <br /> <br />Mr. LaTour presented three proposals received. <br /> <br />Motion made an~ seconded to accept the quote received from Northern Oxygen Service Co.
