Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-01- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 4TH PARTIAL PAYMENT TO KADLEC SERVICES, <br />INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #97-20 (STREET AND STORM SEWER <br />IMPRO~MENTS TO BUSINESS PARK 95) ~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on May 27, <br />1997; and~ <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the <br />bid to Kadlee Services, Inc. for the construction of street and storm sewer improvements to <br />service hh~ Business Park 95 area (Improvement Project #97-20); and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, previous payments have been made to Kadlec Services, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project #97-20 in the amount of $160,361.26; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Kadlec Services, Inc. in the amount of $7,146.54. <br /> <br />NOW T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSE¥~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Kadlec Services, Inc. for the <br />construction of street and storm sewer improvements to service the Business Park 95 area <br />(Improvement Project #97-20) in the amount of $7,146.54. <br /> <br />Th*t the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the City Engineer to sign <br />theirelease form for this payment. <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />billg for the month of January, 1998. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this <br /> resolution, <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , an~t upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the follVwing voted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br />
