Mr. ~ar~er.i Cvstlc FiDrosis Foundation - stated they are asking <br />for th is[be~ause of a change in the State law from a license to a <br />premise [perl~lt. The permit goes until January 31, 1991; and they <br />are in the process of negotiating with the owner. They ~o not know <br />]f they will have a permit after January 31. They have operated at <br />this p]a~e for two years; however, they will not be able to <br />continue to operate without this premise permit. <br /> <br />]~.I2;d~ bY Clch, Seconded by Reimann, to so move approval of the <br />permlt_iMotlon carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CASE #9: <br /> <br />Easement Acquisition and Assessment Agreement for <br />McKinley Street Extension <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich explained the Council previously authorized the <br />building of McKinley Street with tax increment financing, and this <br />request s to negotiate an easement acguistion and assessment <br />agreement for the project. He suggested the easement be acquired <br />even if the Council doesn't wish to proceed with the street <br />extension project. <br /> <br />MOTION by DeLuca, Seconded by Pearson, to proceed with the <br />McKinley.Street Extension and adopt Resolution #90-12-375 <br />(authoriZing the City to enter Into an easement acqulsltlon and <br />assessment agreement for the McKinley Street Extension). Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CASE #10:: Charter Commission Appointments <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted anyone wishing to apply for the Charter <br />Commission shoul~ address their request to the District Court at <br />the County Court House. Mr. Hart]ey suggeste~ a resume be sent as <br />we]]. There are not enough applicants at this time to fi]] all the <br />vacancies. <br /> <br />No Council action was required. <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />State Agreement Regarding Fishing Pier at River's Bend <br />Park <br /> <br />Mr. Hart]ey explaine~ by this agreement, the City Council <br />authorize's the expenditure of $2,000 in cost-share of the pier. <br /> <br />MOTION Dy DeLuca, Seconded Dy Peterson, adopt Resolution ~90-12- <br />374 (authorizing agreements for a Cooperative Opportunities for <br />Resource Enhancement Program fishing pier in River's Ben~ Park). <br />Motion carrie~ unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL/DECEMBER 11, 1990 <br /> Page 15 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
