Desired Outcome: Review Regional System Plans and City of Ramsey System Statement prepared by the <br />Metropolitan Council. The intent of this step is to establish a framework and identify the question being asked <br />of the community with this update: <br />"What is the future land use vision for the City of Ramsey through the year 2040?" <br />Additionally, this is an important step in identifying for the community why the City is updating the 2030 <br />Comprehensive Plan. Furthermore, this forum will identify what a Comprehensive Plan is and the benefit it <br />provides to the community. <br />NOTE: Element #1 should be completed before Element #2. <br />Public Element #2: VISION. VALUES. AND GOALS (including BACKGROUND & PURPOSE) <br />fReauired Elementl <br />Desired Outcome: Review and Amend if Desired Vision, Values, and Goals Chapter from the 2030 <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />Review of End Product: <br />• Economic Development Authority <br />• Environmental Policy Board <br />• Parks and Recreation Commission <br />• Charter Commission <br />• Public Works Committee <br />• Planning Commission <br />• City Council <br />NOTE: Element #2 should be completed before Element #3. <br />Element #3: LAND USE PLAN (DEVELOP FUTURE LAND USE MAP) fReauired Elementl <br />Desired Outcome: Review and update current Future Land Use Map. NOTE: the City did hold an initial forum <br />in 2014 and as able to gather initial feedback.
