grade of the parking area to which such signs are accessory. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />Parking lot instructional signs designating the conditions of use or identify <br />of parking areas shall not exceed 8 square feet and shall not project higher <br />than ten (10) feet in height for wall signs and seven (7) feet in height for <br />ground signs, as measured from the established grade of the parking area(s) <br />to which such signs are accessory. <br /> <br />Window signs are restricted to 30% of the area of the window in which the <br />sign is to be displayed. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 Shopping Center Signs <br /> <br />In accordance with Ramsey City Code Section 9.03.06 (Site Plan Review), Subdivision 1 <br />(Required Site Plan/Building Design Information, item 'c' (Signs), the developer shall submit a <br />sign plan for approval, drawn to scale with elevations, at the time application is made for site plan <br />approval. The sign plan shall include but not be limited to the following information: number of <br />signs, type of signs, sign sizes, type of construction materials, sign messages, and proposed sign <br />locations. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 Advertising Signs (aka billboards) <br /> <br />Advertising signs shall only be allowed in the B-3 Highway Business District subject to the <br />. following requirements: <br /> <br />Advertising signs are prohibited within one hundred (100) feet of the intersection of the <br />Highway right-of-way and any other fight-of-way or driveway. <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />Advertising signs are prohibited within one-thousand two hundred (1200) feet of another <br />advertising sign on the same side of the right-of-way. <br /> <br />Ali advertising signs shall be erected with a single pole or mono-pole structural standard <br />and shall have underground wiring. <br /> <br />The base of any advertising sign must be landscaped with at least grass and must be <br />properly maintained. <br /> <br />Advertising signs shall not exceed three hundred (300) square feet in area nor twenty-five <br />(25) feet in height as measured perpendicularly from the height of the highest point of the <br />sign structure to the grade level directly below the sign. The existing grade may not be <br />altered for the purpose of increasing sign height. <br /> <br />fo <br /> <br />Advertising signs shall be considered a principal use of the property.
