CASE # 3 <br /> <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1 URBAN <br />RESIDENTIAL TO R-3 URBAN RESIDENTIAL AND CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />FROM R-3'.URBAN RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF <br />DOLORAS FLEISCHER, ROBERT BERNSTROM AND NORTH SUBURBAN <br />DEVELOPMENT COMPANY <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background:, <br /> <br />As you know, Jack Menkveld of North Suburban Development Company is in the process of <br />acquiring and pursuing development of Fleischer's 2nd Addition. In designing the plat, it became <br />evident that thh southeastern area would be more workable with the acquisition of a small piece of <br />the adjacent p~per~'y from Robert Bernstrom. Robert Bernstrom is proposing to sell the remainder <br />of his parcel tOLord of Life in the near future so that the church will gain some additional frontage <br />on Nowthen Blvd. Robert Bernstrom agreed to a portion of his property being platted into <br />Fleischer's 2nd. Addition in exchange for Outlot B of Fleischer's Addition. With the acquisition of <br />Outlot B, Mr. ~Bernstrom's parcel would gain additional frontage on Nowthen Blvd. N.W. and <br />make it even more desirable for the church's purposes. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The parcel to be acquired from Robert Bernstrom for inclusion in Fleischer's 2nd Addition is <br />zoned R-3 Urban Residential and needs to be rezoned to R-1 Urban Residential for development <br />with single fathily urban residential lots. The outlot to be conveyed to Robert Bernstrom for <br />combination With his existing R-3 Urban Residential lot is zoned R-1 Urban Residential.
