PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Planning'.. and Zoning Commission of the City of Ramsey conducted a public hearing on <br />Thursday,k March 21, 1991 regarding a request for a conditional use permit for an aluminum <br />processing facility; case of Glen Rychner, Aluminum Recycling, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairman Gerald Zimmerman <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Merland Otto, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner David Bawden <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zirnmerman called the public heating to order at 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />None <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Glen Ryohner stated he intends to construct a building and move equipment in necessary to <br />melt aluminum to separate it from iron and other metals. This is part of a general recycling <br />program and entails and addresses problems as to what to do with materials co-mingled with other <br />metals. The proposed location is Gateway North Industrial Park, Lot 2, Block 1. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to adjourn the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Terry and Thorud. Voting No: None.
