CITY COUNCIL <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Improvement Project #91-03 - <br />Sealcoating Rum River Acres Estates 1st and 2nd Additions. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Acting City Administrator/Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbert$on Called the public hearing to order at 7:21 p.m. to discuss Improvement Project <br />#91-03 - Sealc0ating Rum River Acres Estates 1st and 2nd Additions. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski' stated that this street was built in 1975 and last sealcoated in 1983. There is <br />approximatelyl,7/10 of a mile involved and some areas need repair. The largest repair area is the <br />intersection of 151st and Juniper Ridge Drive N.W. There are 26 units to be assessed and the <br />amount is estimated at $160.00 per unit <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Dorothy Stadfelt, 15111 Juniper Ridge Drive N.W., Ramsey - asked when the sealcoating would <br />be accomplished. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowsld replied the crack sealing is scheduled to begin in May and the sealcoating is <br />scheduled for mid-July. <br /> <br />Ms. Stadfelt asked if the total amount is divided evenly among the 26 units to which Mr. <br />Jankowski replied yes. <br /> <br />Ms. Stadfelt stated the area on 152nd Avenue N.W. between Juniper Ridge Drive N.W. and the <br />western boundary has never been paved and she would like the estimate recalculated to take that <br />area of the street off. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski assured her it would be recalculated. <br /> <br />Public Hearing - #91-03/March 26, 1991 <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
