Mayor Gilberlson called the meeting back to order at 8:08 p.m. <br /> <br />CONSENT (AGENDA <br />Motion by C°~ uneilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />following items on the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />1) Approve license applications <br />2) Adop~Resolution g91-05-094 approving accounts payable transactions for the period April <br /> 15, 1991 through May 3, 1991;. <br />3) Rec¢i~te rePort of cash flows for the period ending April 30, 1991 ;. <br />4) ReCeiVe General Fund Interim Financial Report as of April 30, 1991 ;. <br />5) ReceiVe letter from Joe and Mary Jo Sentyrz thanking the Council for their consideration <br /> and ad~tion on behalf of the property owners near the Adult Bookstore;. <br />6) ApprOve garnbling organization license application of the Ramsey Lions Club;. <br />7) Adopt'Resolution ~)1-05-095 ending the probationary period for Senior Accountant Mary <br /> Gomez;. <br />8) Adopt' Resolution #91-05-096 ending the probationary period following a promotion for <br /> Reccpiion[st/Network Support Kathleen Johnson;. <br /> Adop~Res01ution #91-05-097 approving the proposed education policy;. <br />9)0) Adopt~Remlution ~)1-05-098 offering City Administrator position to Ryan Sckroeder;. <br />11) Rec¢i~e copies of letters from Personnel Coordinator to Rodney Nelson and John Goo& <br /> notifY~.g them of their appointments to the Charter Commission;. . <br />12) Adopt: Resolution #91-05-099 declaring surplus property and authorizing public sale by <br /> sealed/.bid;. <br />13) Approve request of the Ramsey Lions Club for a one day 3.2 beer license on Saturday, <br /> June 8; 1991 (rain date of June 9, 1991) for the 5th Annual Ramsey Community Picnic at <br /> Cen~ Park and waive the license fee;. <br />14) Sched~Ule Road and Bridge Committee meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 1991 to <br /> discugs land acquisition for extension of 153rd Avenue N.W. <br />15) Adop[Resolution 091-05-100 authorizing use of City truck by Ramsey Lions Club for <br /> surplus food distribution to low income individuals;. <br /> 16) ReceiV~e City-wide Curbside Recycling Report for January- April, 1991;. <br />17) Authorize Personnel Coordinator to advertise for vacancy on Economic Development <br /> Commission;. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Comprehensive Parks Plan Update <br /> ,: <br />Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Coordinator, highlighted some of the revisions that had been made to <br />the Comprehe~/~sive Parks Plan and asked City Council to adopt it. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hetling added that the Park and Recreation Commission and Mr. Boos intend to review items <br />of this plan in[Jun6 and present it back to City Council with the revisions as necessary. <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Hetlland, Chairperson for the Park and Recreation Commission, requested City Council <br />give conceptuhl approval of the proposed updated Comprehensive Parks Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by COuncitmember Peterson and seconded by Councitmember Beyer to adopt Resolution <br />#91-05-101 adopting the parks plan update. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Cich and <br />Hardin.
