Absent: CouncilmemberCich. <br />Councilmemher Hardin inquired if Mr. Rychner's business is considered compatible with the <br />existing or futitre Uses under the new zoning ordinance and if the area should be rezoned to I-1 <br />Industrial. <br /> <br />Councilmetnber Pcterson stated that when the area was rezoned to B-W, the City tried to do so <br />without making existing uses non-conforming. <br /> <br />Councilmemb~r Paterson stated there will be more requests for zoning changes and that maybe the <br />City will have fo amend the B-W Diswict~ <br /> <br />Mayor GilbertS°n stated it may be better to fill out this area with conditional use permits for heavy <br />industrial actiVitieS versus decreasing the amount of B-W zoning the City has indicated to the <br />courts would ~ available for adult uses. <br /> <br />In discussing the terms for any exterior storage or preparation of feedstock not to be conducted <br />within the btfi._Iding, Staff was directed to retrieve the language for that same issue from the file of <br />Danny's Alu~um Processing. <br />Mayor Gilbert~on recessed the meeting at 9:31 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertion called the meeting back to order at 9:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councitmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to amend #40 to <br />read "may adversely impair the future use". <br /> <br />Motion carrie~I.
