Community Development Director Gladhill stated revenue for Building Permits only covers a portion of the City's activities, which are part of the General Fund as well, so the City is not charging more than needed to cover costs. He stated staff held back on increases but an increase is needed at this time to meet the customer's demands for turnaround times. City Administrator Ulrich noted the Council Chambers is listed for the first time as a rentable facility as the PACT School had expressed interest. The consensus of the Council was to support the 2015 Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges and acknowledged it would be considered, as presented tonight, for introduction at the November 12, 2014, Council meeting. 2.04: Discussion on Options for Existing Tanker Being Replaced This Case was considered prior to Case 2.01. 3. TOPICS FOR FUTURE DISCUSSION Finance Director Lund stated the 2015 Budget will be discussed at the next Work Session meeting. City Administrator Ulrich asked if the Council would support scheduling a Work Session to discuss the Assessment Policy on November 18, 2014, starting at 5:30 p.m. This would be prior to the Public Works Committee meeting. The consensus of the Council was to support holding a Work Session on November 18, 2014. City Administrator Ulrich stated he will provide the Council with a self evaluation by the end of this week and it will be considered by the Council at the second meeting in November. 4. MAYOR / COUNCIL / STAFF INPUT Councilmember Kuzma asked about the date for the Governor's visit to kick off the announcement of the improvement to the Highway 10 Corridor. City Administrator Ulrich stated it is expected to occur the week after the election. 5. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to adjourn the Work Session meeting.
