Councilmember LeTourneau aye <br />Mayor Strommen aye <br />Motion carried. <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />None. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Ulrich reported on a survey the City conducted of impacted businesses that <br />indicated the majority, 9, support closing Armstrong Boulevard during the project so it can be <br />completed in eight months; 4 businesses support leaving Armstrong Boulevard open during the <br />project with a prolonged construction period of 16 months; and, 3 businesses were indifferent. <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming training opportunities for HEARTSafe Ramsey <br />and the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 9, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. City Administrator <br />Ulrich also provided information on Northstar Station ridership and the upcoming Highway 10 <br />Transportation Coalition meeting. <br />Mayor Strommen reported that she and City Administrator Ulrich met last week with the School <br />Board Chair and Superintendent to discuss its boundary change proposal for Ramsey Elementary <br />in advance of the parent meeting. She indicated that discussion involved the demographics used <br />to plan for the future and a-potential change to use a kindergarten center model. <br />Councilmember LeTourneau thanked staff for communicating with Highway 10 businesses <br />relating to the Armstrong Boulevard project and asked staff to include the Council in those <br />updates and the process of making choices on variables relating to detours and signage. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 7:23 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kurds G.
