Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Case #5: Proposed Revisions to Format of City's Zoning Map <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that some major changes were made to the City's zoning <br />districts in D~mb¢r, 1990. In reviewing the current rezoning map, it became evident that it could <br />use some forint changes. She stated that some of the zones currently conflict with City Code <br />definitions. To!correct the situation will require public hearings and rezoning property. <br /> <br />Chairman zimmerman stated that the City has to make sure it has good documentation of old <br />zoning maps tolkeep track of what permitted uses were allowed prior to the rezoning. <br /> <br />Motion by Co,nanissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to recommend City <br />Council direct City Staff to initiate a public hearing to make changes on the City's zoning map. <br /> <br />Motion carrio, xk Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, LaDue, Bawden, <br />Hendriksen and Thorud. Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />1) In-hou~e Project Review <br /> <br />CommissioncriDeemer asked if City Council received the request of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission to!review in-house improvement projects. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik stated that the City Engineer and the City Administrator discussed this at a staff meeting <br />and the City Administrator suggested the City Engineer do an article for the Ramsey Resident every <br />so often to keel~ people informed of the in-house projects. <br /> <br />CommissioneriHendriksen questioned why the City Administrator thinks it is better to keep the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission in the "dark" about City projects. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by CommisSioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried; Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners LaDue, Deemer, Bawden, <br />Hendriksen and Thom& Voting No: None.
