In doing so, i~ has come to our anemion <br />~hal there :~r~ certain properties outside of the cur's urban sewer service area that are not zoned <br />accordingly'. The Ramsev City Code states that Rural Business (RB) zoning is intended for <br />commercial rdev~lopmenl outside of ~he ciw's urban sewer service area. Your property is outside <br />the urban sewer service area but is currently zoned B-] Business, a zoning intended for <br />commercial development within the urban sewer service area. <br /> <br />The CiD' Council has authorized City Staff to correct this situation and initiate action to consider <br />rezoning your property from B-I Business to Rural Business. Enclosed for your information is a <br />copy of ~i B-I Buginess and Rural Business sections of City Code. I'am forwarding this <br />information ~to you so that you may compare the two zones and evaluate the impact of this rezoning <br />from B-I Io:RB on your property. <br /> <br />I am plannine to schedule a public hearin2 re,.zardin,.2 the proposed rezonin,, in from of the Plannin,, <br />and ZomngiComnussmn on Tuesday. The Cin, Council will <br />then adop~ ~ndings of fact and either approve or den5' the rezoning. If Council approves the <br />rezonin~, ti'lev will introduce an ordinance to rezone the property. City Council must then wait a <br />minimu~ of ~ days to form'AR, adopt the ordinance to rezone th~ property.
