Motion by Counciimember Pcterson and seconded by Councihncmber Beret to approve the <br />recommendal;ion of the Fire Board and authorize offering the position of Volunteer Fire Fighter to <br />William Fiddk, Peter Funder, Dennis Klotter, Jeffrey Perowitz and Ron Westby. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Cich and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to authorize the <br />purchase of the four helmets for the Fire Department. <br /> <br />Motion carried, Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Cich and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Planning and Zoning Commission Request for Input with Regard to In- <br /> House Projects <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding Planning and Zoning Commission's request to have input on in- <br />house project~;. <br /> <br />City AdministratOr Schroeder stated he would review the Planning and Zoning Commission's <br />request and p!ace an agenda item regarding their request on their next meeting agenda. <br /> <br />2) Post :OffiCe <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated there is a town meeting scheduled with Congressman Gerry <br />Sikorski and that in previous times, the City has discussed getting a post office. He asked City <br />Staff to review theold files on that subject. <br /> <br />3) Schedule Special Meeting <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich asked to schedule a meeting for November 6, 1991 at zl:00 p.m. to <br />introduce an ordinance amending non-conforming use section of zoning code regulating adult uses. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Coun¢ilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carriod.
