Councilmemb6r introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #04-02-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTIOI~I APPROVING CLIMB, INC. APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT <br />FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT JR'S ENTERTAINMENT CENTER INRAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb, Inc., has applied for a premise permit for gambling at JR's <br />Entertainment Center, 6141 Highway 10, Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; and <br /> <br /> WHE_.R~EAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of <br /> Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Climb, <br />Inc. to!operate lawful gambling at JR'S Entertainment Center, 6141 Highway 10, <br />RamseY. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer ~to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion forlthe adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote [seing taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />and the followir~g voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />thereupon said ~solution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 24th day of February, 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
