Councl!m~nber-Elect Hardin felt the Issues of future expansion, <br />permane~ o~nershlp and operation of the airport needs to be <br />addressed quickly. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS <br /> <br />Deputy M~yor Peterson stated the most common complaint has been <br />with the !new ordln&nce. There are a number of violations In the <br />CttF th&~. ape eye sores; however, he didn't think certain people <br />shoul~ b~i sl~ng]e~ out. If the ordinance Is going to be enforced, <br />It shou]~ be enforced uniformly throughout the City; and the <br />Council ~1]1 need to back that objective with funding. <br /> <br />Deputy M&Yor Peterson felt another area that needs consideration is <br />to work ~lth the business community on signing. He suggeste~ each <br />member of~ the new Council make a list of what they would like to <br />see a¢¢om~iished by the next ac~ninistration. <br /> <br />Mr. Hart]~y stated he would like to see the ~ouncIl, Administrative <br />Staff, P~]ice an~ Fire Chiefs spend a day as a group some place <br />away fr~m~ CI~y Hall to discuss Ideals, goals, guidelines, etc. <br />The general ~onsensus was that the suggestion Is a good one and one <br />that should be explore~ further. <br /> <br />Councllmeil~ber Cich wanted to address the problems with the City <br />automated~system as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Deputy Ma¥orlPeterson stated he is working on a Performance <br />Managemen~ Plan for cutting costs, saving time and working smarter. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />MOTION by{ Councilmember-E]ect Hardin, Seconded by Councilmember- <br />Elect Be-Yet, to adjourn.
