Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #14 -10 -229 <br />RESOLUTION TO REPLACE A FULL -TIME AND A PART -TIME POLICE <br />TECHNICIAN <br />WHEREAS, on November 28, 2014, Ms. Linda Aaseby, the full -time Police Technician <br />will retire from the City after twenty -six years of service; and <br />WHEREAS, staff conducted an internal recruitment for the Police Technician positions <br />(both FT and PT), and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends replacing a full -time and a part-time Police Technician, <br />effective December 1, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Jennifer Johnson, is recommended for the full -time position and Ms. <br />Kate Lindahl, is recommended for the part-time position which will be vacated when Ms. <br />Johnson takes the full -time; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Jennifer Johnson's hourly wage will be $20.10, which is her current <br />wage. Ms. Kate Lindahl's hourly wage will be $18.28, which is step one of the 2014 wage <br />scale. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE I.T. RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to approve a resolution #14 -10 -229 to replace a full -time and a part-time Police <br />Technician, effective December 1, 2014; Ms. Jennifer Johnson's hourly wage will be <br />$20.10, which is her current wage. Ms. Kate Lindahl's hourly wage will be $18.28, <br />which is step one of the 2014 wage scale. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />
