Planning and ~ontng <br />adoption: <br /> <br />Commissioner LaDue introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-PZ-10-1 <br /> <br /> WH~ERE/FS, the Git5, Council of the Git5, of Ramsey on or about April 23, 1990, directed <br />City Staff tO S!udy~ the issues relating to adult entertainment and zoning and to resear6h and review <br />possible regul~, tion~ of adult entertainment businesses in the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has received the staffs report on <br />various land .~use !regulatory schemes and legal considerations related to adult entertainment <br />business restrictions; and <br /> <br /> WHE)REAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has held public hearing on the matter <br />on the dates ~f May 29, 1990 and October 9, 1990, to consider the matter and to receive public <br />input on the i~sueS; and <br /> <br />WHI~REAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission has considered all of the <br />documentary:evidence presented to it by staff and through the public hearings and has considered <br />the testimonyl!intr6duced in connection with the said public hearings; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has determined and adopted the <br />attached Fi(n~tingl; and Conclusions relating to issues associated with the regulation of adult <br />entertainmen~ businesses. ~ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISS~ONi OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINNESOIA; as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the Zoning Code <br /> amengments attached hereto proposing to restrict certain types of adult establishments to <br /> certain zoning districts, subject to conditions otherwise specified therein, and directing the <br /> Zoning Administrator to forward the referenced documents and all materials assembled by <br /> the Planning and Zoning Commission in the course of this study to the City Council for <br /> their ~mm~dmte review and acnon. <br /> <br />The motion ~or the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />Bawden and Cpon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Chairman Gerald Zimmern'mn <br /> .: Mi'.
