exceeds 10 minutes between those hours, shall provide <br />off-street truck loading space on the lot. <br /> <br /> 2 ) Loading and unloading facilities are to be located in the rear <br /> yard; or side yard if properly screened by a solid 6 foot <br /> fence or other acceptable means. <br /> <br />I. The parking areas shall include the following ratio of parking <br /> stalls plus adequate aisles, walks and open spaces: <br /> <br />I ) Manufacturing <br /> <br />One parking stall per 500 square feet of building or one <br />stall per 1~. employee~, on major shift plus one for each <br />comp'any vehicle, whichever is greater. <br /> <br />2 ) Office <br /> <br />One parking stall each per 250 square feet of floor area. <br /> <br />3 ) Warehousing <br /> <br />One each per 1.5 employees plus one for each company <br />vehicle, or one per 2,000 square feet of floor area <br />whichever is greater. <br /> <br />4 ) Other uses <br /> <br />For other uses, parking stall requirements shall be at least <br />comparable to similar uses in other districts, but also <br />subject to additional provisions as provided by the City. <br /> <br />5 ) Joint use of parking <br /> <br />Provision of parking stalls jointly by several uses in the <br />same block or in the same vicinity is permissible; in <br />which case, the number of stalls required shall be the sum <br />total of the individual requirements, provided that where it <br />is found by the Planning and Zoning Commission upon <br />application thereto that the need for parking stalls <br />required herein is substantially less, the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission may recommend to the City Council and <br />the Council may reduce the total number of parking stalls <br />to be jointly provided. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
