CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST ALUMINUM RECYCLING, INC. By: Merland Otto CASE Background: Mr. Glenn R¥chner has applied for a conditional use permit to develop and operate an aluminum prOceSsing ptant. The site location is Lot 2, Block 1 of Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 1 on approximately 2.58 acres. The property is zoned B/W Business/Warehouse use. The operation plan states that the facility would receive and process aluminum and other non-hazar~lous metals (brass, copper, stainless steel and other non-hazardous metals). AluminUm and other non-hazardous metals would be processed on site with a melt operation separating aluminum and producing ingots. The aluminum processing operation would include the disassembly of vehicle eng(nes and transmissions on-site which will require a hazardous waste generator license. -T~wo melt ~~.'are-~pr6'pbse8 ~o~be operated which would be located within a ~l~ra~t-~cture proposed to be constructed.
