The airport has served these communities since 1974, <br />and the facility as outlined in the Master Plan should serve these <br />communities well into the future. <br /> <br /> While Anoka County airport is proposed to handle larger and <br />more sophisticated aircraft, Gateway would serve the needs of <br />smaller general aviation aircraft. <br /> <br /> This type of development is consistent in serving the needs of <br />all aircraft-users.
