As there was .not a quorom present, those present proceeded to discuss cases <br />on the agenda in general. <br /> <br />Mr. Donovan inquired if it would be appropriate for members of the <br />Commission, not seeking reappointment, to make a recommendation regarding <br />the airport issue as those members resigning have heard a lot of input and <br />testimonYduring the past year. <br /> <br />Mr. Morrow stated that as for himself, he would not be opposed to making a <br />private reco~nendation after he sees the final airport master plan. <br /> <br />General discussion ensued regarding members of the Airport Commission and <br />Council taking a tour of airport facilities similar to what could be <br />developed in Ramsey. <br /> <br />The CommiSsion discussed the possibility of conducting a public <br />informational meeting in January to bring the citizens up to date. <br /> <br />CommissionerlDonovan stated that the Commission must also begin to address <br />the issueof impact of operation and maintenance costs of an airport <br />facility on the community. <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel stated he would contact Harry Nemec regarding operation and <br />maintenance costs. <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Erickson and Mr. Jurva informed the Commission of improvements <br />taking place at Mora and Cambridge airports and suggested that they too be <br />contacted for input regarding maintenance costs. <br /> <br />Commissioner Siebert arrived at 8:27 p.m.; there is now a quorum present <br />and the Commission proceeded to conduct business. <br /> <br />~PPROVAL OF ~IRPORT COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Donovan and seconded by Commissioner Siebert to <br />approve the following minutes: <br /> <br />1.
