The consensus of the Commission members present was to recommend <br />that City ~CoUncil approve for payment Hakanson/Anderson's request <br />for partial Payment, as submitted, regarding the Airport Master <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Case #2: Discussion Of Open House Held On June 2, 1984: <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel stated that the open house went very well and letters <br />of appreciation should be sent to Mr. Solderholm and Mr. Jim <br />Thompson for their contribution of free airplane rides at the <br />open house4 Chairman Ippel stated that the attitude of those <br />attending the open house was positive; concern was with land <br />acquisition being at a fair price and rerouting of County Rd. 116. <br /> <br />Case #3: Report From Mr, Koshak And Mr, Otto: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto and Mr. Koshak requested that the next public meeting, <br />originally scheduled for August 15, 1984, be conducted on August <br />22, 1984. <br /> <br />Commission consensus was to conduct a regular Airport Commission <br />meeting on August 15, 1984, conduct a public meeting on August 22, <br />1984, andithat notice of the public meeting be published in the <br />City newsletter provided that newsletter will be delivered within <br />the City prior to August 22, 1984. Commission consensus is that <br />if a City newsletter is not issued prior to August 22, 1984, City <br />Council approve an amount to be expended for a City wide mailing <br />regarding the public meeting scheduled for August 22, 1984~ <br /> <br />Mr. Koshak stated that he would see to it that notice of the public <br />meeting is Published in the legal newspaper. <br /> <br />Chairman !ppel and Mr. Koshak agreed to contact City Administrator <br />Schnelle regarding a City wide mailing. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto presented the following items for Co~mmission review: <br /> <br />aq <br /> <br />Gateway Industrial North Historic And Forecast Based <br />Aircraft (See Attachment I). <br /> <br />Gateway Industrial North Historic And ~Forecast Operations <br />(See Attachment II). <br /> <br />Preliminary Airport Layout Plan (Copie available at office <br />of Hakanson/Anderson) <br /> <br />Commissioner Morrow dismissed himself from the meeting at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Greenberg temporarily dismissed from the meeting at <br />9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto proceeded to review the preliminary Airport Layout Plan <br />with the commission. <br /> <br />AP/July 18~ 1984 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
