Hopefully this will change as a result of the Charter <br />election set~ for May 22, 1984. <br /> <br />Mr. Berry - Appreciates that the airport useage has dropped from <br />30,000 toi 15~,000 operations per year. <br /> <br />Bruce ThompsPn - Use the airport on occasion and have heard if <br />that airport~ had not been there, the property would hav~ been on <br />the State's iinventory as a toxic waste site. <br /> <br />Chairman ~ppel read from Waste Management Board Hearing Examiner <br />Record wk~£ch stated the area as candidate for storage, aqueous <br />waste a~d' incinerator.
