EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> (David R, Hartley) <br /> <br /> On this ~ day of December, 1985, in the City of Ramsey, <br />County of Anoka, the following agreement of employment terms and <br />conditions a~e hereby agreed to between the City of Ramsey, <br />hereinafter referred to as Employer, and David R. Hartley, <br /> <br />hereinafter referred to as Employee· <br /> <br /> 1. ~os~tion: City Administrator. <br /> 2. <br /> <br />~ff~ctiver , Date: February 1 , 1 986. <br /> <br /> T~er~8 of EmPlOyment: Employee shall be <br /> <br />retained as City Administrator of the City of Ramsey for a three <br /> <br />(3) year Period and may continue employment indefinitely, as <br />mutually agreed to by the Employee and the Employer for one (]) <br /> <br />year periods. <br /> <br /> 4. Termination By Kmployer: The Employer may <br />terminate the Employee by certified or registered mail, return <br />receipt requested. In the event of such termination while <br /> <br />Employee is ready, willing and able to perform the duties of City <br />Administrator, the Employer shall pay Employee a sum equal to the <br /> <br />compensation for sixty (60) calendar days. <br /> <br /> 5. Termination By Employee: Employee may <br /> <br />terminate !his employment with Employer by directing sixty (60) <br />days prior written notice of termination to Employer by certified <br />or registered mail, return receipt requested. In the event of <br />such termination, Employee shall not be entitled to receive <br /> <br />benefits beyond the effective date of such termination. <br /> <br /> <br />
