Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-01-012 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF BROOKFIELD 5T11 <br />ADDITION <br />WHEREAS, 21st Century Bank, hereinafter referred to as "Developer", properly applied <br />to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for a preliminary plat of the following described property <br />located in the City of Ramsey: <br />Outlot F, Brookfield First Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the " Su bj ect Property") <br />WHEREAS, on July 7, 2014 the City of Ramsey received applications for Sketch Plan <br />and Preliminary Plat review for BROOKFIELD 5th ADDITION from the Developer; and <br />WH EREAS, on August 7, 2014, the Planning Commission conducted a Public Hearing on <br />the Sketch Plan and Prel i mi nary Plat for BROOK FI EL D 5TH ADDITION and continued the Publ i c <br />Hearing to the September Planning Commission meeting to provi de the Developer with additional <br />ti me to address concerns related to the prel i mi nary plat; <br />WHEREAS, on August 27, 2014, the Developer requested the Public Hearing be <br />postponed to providethem with additional ti meto work with adjacent residents and City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 8, 2014, the Developer resubmitted applications for Sketch <br />Plan and Preliminary Plat for BROOKFIELD 5TH ADDITION; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 8, 2015, the Planning Commission conducted a Public Hearing <br />on the request and recommended City Council approve/not approve the Preliminary Plat <br />contingent upon obtaining the necessary variances and compliance with the Staff Review Letter <br />dated January 2, 2015. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAM SEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MI NNESOTA, asfdlowsv <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants preliminary plat approval to BROOKFIELD <br />5TH ADDITION in accordance with relevant City Codes and contingent upon obtaining the <br />necessary variances and compliance with the Staff Review Letter dated January 2, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />M ember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol I owi ng voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />
