I I I I I I I CHARTER COMMISSION CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A specialmeeting of the Ramsey Charter Commission was held on Tuesday, February 28, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Mr. Gary Heitman, Chairman Mr. Dick Sieber Ms. Brenda Bauerkemper Mr. Tom Greenberg Mr. John Lichter Members Absent: Mr. Curt Titterud Mr. Tom Gamec Mr. Roger Buchanan Mr. Stan Data I I I I CALL TO ORDER Chairman Heitman called the special meeting to order at 6:50 p.m. None. COMMISSION. BUSINESS Motion by Commissioner Sieber and seconded by Commissioner Lichter that: I I i 1. The proposed charter for the City of Ramsey known as Revision 7 be suhnitted to the City Administrator to begin action pursuant to law. 2. COuncil be requested to set an election date between May 21 and May 25,1984, inclusive. Subject to any applicable laws, any Charter Commission members absent fr°~ this particular meeting be allowed to sign the proposed charter prior to the election date, if they so desire. Further Discussion: Chairman Heitman pointed out that from a legal aspect, the vote taken on this motion will stand as it is taken tonight; that signatures added to the document after tonight.,cannot be considered an 'aye' vote to'this motion.
