Swenson: <br /> <br />City Enginesr ~aatikka reviewed with the Commission his letter dated February 1, <br />1984 to Planning and Zoning Chairman Kenneth Peterson regarding Sketch Plan <br />Review, Oakrid~e Construction. <br /> <br />Commissio~ ConSensus is that Lot 1 was previously subdivided on the condition <br />that Lot 2 would not be subdivided until the street is in and no easement <br />was agreed to at the time of subdivision of Lot 1. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Chairman Peterson to table any <br />action on thiS~request based on the fact that the Planning Commission cannot <br />conceive Of creating substandard commercial/industrial lots without municipal <br />utilities bein~ installed. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Chairman Peterson explained to Mr. Swenson that if this <br />motion PaSSeS,'it is recommending that Council table this request until <br />utilities are lin; Mr. Swenson could present another sketch plan proposing 3 <br />parcels father'than 4. <br /> <br />Motion carriedi Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, Kennen, <br />Zimmerman and Hendriksen. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, Kennen, <br />Zimmerman and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Proposed Amendment To The Subdivision Code, Cha~ter 170.039D, <br /> '~ubP~ragra~h 8 "V.A. and F.H.A. plat Approval": <br /> <br />Mr. Berg s~ate~ that he and the City Attorney are recommending that Subparagraph <br />8 of Ordinance~ 170.039D not be deleted; if a developer comes in with a good <br />sound financial package, Council can grant him a variance to this portion of the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Co~m~issioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to not <br />recommend amending Ordinance 170.039D by eliminating Subparagraph 8 which <br />requires V,A. and F.H.A. approval of all new plats. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
