Commissioner Gr~enberg noted that there are numerous minor corrections necessary in the cha~r, isuch as typos. Commission$~, Ba~erkemper suggested that after all revisions have been made to the charte~i that it be s~bmitted to a professional typist for typing and clean- up. ~ ~ t Discussion. ~nsu~d regarding he likelihood of Council setting an election date 60 days af~e~ r~ceipt of charter rather than 90 days. Commissione~ Ga~.ec inquired as to why the people who are in such a hurry to see the charte~ !Vo~d on, 'don'.t ~come forward and state so; he only hears from the people who!~antithe election delayed. If the Charter Commission would approach Council wi~ a'~ocument they have confidence in, Council may agree to set an election pri. or i~o 90 days.
