(See Attachment I). <br /> <br />Mr. NelsOn stated that a city needs intra-structure, industrial development <br />and housing development. These can be accomplished by way of Industrial <br />RevenuelBond~, Tax Increment Financing, State funds (CDBG), and Urban <br />Develop~ent~ · <br /> Action Grants. <br /> <br />Mr. NelSOn s~ated that Tax Increment Financing is particularly attractive <br />because~ ~hei~ity can do certain improvements in the area it is targeting <br />and all Of Ge costs can be passed onto the developer, which ties in nice <br />with industrial development. <br /> <br />Mr. NelsOn proceeded to review the outline with those present at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor C~ec iinquired as to the advantages in tax increment financing for the <br />developer. <br /> <br />C/March 14, 1984 <br /> Workshop Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />
