CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 01/27/2015 <br />By: Jo Thieling, Administrative Services <br />4. 7. <br />Information <br />Title <br />Approve Second Amendment to the Agreement for Transit Service Expansion Plan with Metropolitan Council <br />Purpose/Background: <br />APurpose: To approve the second amendment to the Agreement for Transit Service Expansion Plan with <br />Metropolitan Council. <br />Background: In March 2012, the City approved and entered into an agreement between the Metropolitan Council <br />and the City of Ramsey with regard to a Transit Service Expansion Plan. In June 2013, the City and the <br />Metropolitan Council approved Amendment One to the Agreement. City staff requested, and the Metropolitan <br />Council agreed, to a second amendment to the Agreement for Transit Service Expansion that would require the <br />Metropolitan Council (i.e., "the Council"), to add maintenance of the "turf and landscaped areas" of the Northstar <br />Station as part of their responsibility. The Original Agreement, Amendment One and the newly requested <br />Amendment Two are all attached for Council information and review. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />The amendment as proposed would require the Metropolitan Council (i.e., "the Council"), to add maintenance of <br />the "turf and landscaped areas" of the Northstar Station as part of their responsibility.
