Case %~.: ;Ap.~ointing Of A Councilmember To Serve On A Joint Highway Task !~F~ce (Ramse¥, Anoka, Champlin and Dayton) To Study Long-Term Ne~ Re~ardin~ Traffic On T.H. 169: Motion by Co~cilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to adopt Res01u~ion %84-71 appointing Councilmember Sorteberg to serve on the Joint Hlghwa~ Task Force (Ramsey, Anoka, Champlin and Dayton) to study transportation needs on certain highways. (Please refer to resolution file for ResolutiOn %84-71). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Schlueter, Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. Case #6~ A~roval of Fire Contract Between The City Of Ramsey And Cit~ Of 'l Motion by Co~ncilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to approveof .t~e 1984 fire contract between the City of Ramsey and City of Anoka. lh/rt~er, to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign said contract~i ~ Motion oarried. Mayor G~ec~tated that he and City Attorney Goodrich will be meeting with Waste Ma~ag~ent regarding the landfill contract. The Waste Management Corporate office will be submitting a request for a conditional use permit. Mayor ~ec ~tated that during the past week he has.received a numerous amount ~ o.~ents regarding a survey dealing with on-site septic systems and that,.he!knew nothing of this survey. Mayor Gamec stated that he did find o~t that this survey was conducted by Councilmember Schlueter. Mayor GameC oo~me~ted that the idea behind the survey was good but that Council- memberlsho~d have used co.~,,on courtesy and let the other Councilmemhers know that she was conducting such a survey.
