PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A regular_ ~mee~ing of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, April 24, 1984 at the R~msey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota , Members Present: Also Present Mayor Tom Gamec Councilm-~her Jean Schlueter councilm-mher A1 Sorteberg councilmember Gary Reimann Councilmember Sue Van Wagner (arrived at 8:15 p.m.) City A~ministrator Lloyd Schnelle City Engineer Peter Raatikka City Attorney William Goodrich City Building Official Clayton Berg Reporter Carolyn Thompson The meeting Vas called to order at 7:32 p.m. and Councilmember Schlueter led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The reg~l~ar ~eeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m. in order to conduct the following Board of ~Adj~stment public hearing and Board of Adjustment meeting: 1) V~ri.an~ce request of Mr. Gary Gotham to construct an accessory building on an. adjacent lot to his residence. PUBLIC ~ ,H~NG The regular~eeting was called back to order by Mayor Gamec at 7:38 p.m. The regular ~eeting adjourned at 7:38 p.m. in order to conduct the following public hearing: 1) RequeSt for vacating of drainage easement in Lot 12, Block 4, Oakridge ~EStat~s} F.H. Entezl~rises. Mayor Gameo Called the regular meeting back to order at 7:39 p.m. Art Bend~sk~ - 808 Johnson St. - Anoka - Present on behalf of Jerry Smothers of MinneSota Sawdust and Shavings. Minnesota Sawdust is constructing a 105' x l~5'iiwarehouse and they are requesting a variance to the sprinkler system.a~d roof color. CounciLlOr Reimann stated that Council can waive the sprinkler system require~ntibut it would be specified in the development agreement that a spri~k~erlsystem will be installed at the time municipal water becomes available. ~ C/April 24, 1984 Page 3 of 20
