Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmemhers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueteri~ Van Wagner. Voting No.. None. <br /> <br />Case ~1~ R~quest For Variance; Case Of Mr. Ronald Danner~ Danner's Cabinet <br /> <br />Motion :by Oo.~ncilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />grant M~i~ Daflner the following: !.. _'. ~ <br /> <br /> 1) A two iyear extension to the blacktop parking lot requirement. <br /> <br />2) A variance to the second bathroom requirement if Mr. Danner remodels <br /> ~he P~esent bathroom to accomodate the handicapped. <br /> <br />3) A Wariance to the sprinkler system requirement until municipal water <br /> becomes available. <br /> <br />i <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Further, ~that the above items shall be included in the development agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Moti0n'~:Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />ResolutiOn ~$4-74 that sprinkler systems are not required in areas where <br />muniCiPai Wa~r is not available but that it must be installed 30 days <br />after the a~ilability of municipal water. (PleaSe refer to resolution file <br />for Resoluti0n %84-74). <br /> <br />Motion o~arri,e~. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />SchlUeter aha Van Wagner. Voting NO: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Ber~sta~ed that the City could get into a situation where there would be <br />a larg~lossl of life and it might not be wise of the City to carte blanche <br />give awa~ th~ sprinkler system requirement, even temporarily. <br /> <br />Council~be~ Reimann pointed out that having to address the sprinkler system <br />issue in~ea.oh case assures that the property owner is aware of the requirement <br />and kn~ws t~at the requirement must be fulfilled as soon as city water becomes <br />available. <br /> <br />Mayor (t~J~ec withdraws his motion to adopt Resolution %84-74. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg withdraws his second to the motion to adopt Resolution <br />%84-74. <br /> <br />C/April 24, 1984 <br /> Page 11 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
