As per City Attorney Goodrich, it will be necessary for the Planning Commission to review the minutes of the public hear- Sng, discuss and prepare findings of fact and make a recom- mendation pursuant to the City Code. Enclosure (D2-b) contains $ copy of the City Code as it relates to conditional uses and ~he applicants application. It will be necessary for you to ~dopt findings that address the following ~reas: ' a) 170.016D Standards for Consideration ~ b) 170.016E Criteria for Approval c) 170.016F Performance Standards Based on those findings you must make a recommendation to ~pprove/deny/or table the request. You are advised that the Ordinance requires your recommendation be made within thirty I(30) days of the public hearing unless the applicant agrees to an extension in writing. If you table action and the appli- cant does not approve an extension in writing then it would be necessary for you to schedule a special meeting. ~mmission Action: The Planning Commission action will be to ~dopt findings of fact using the above stated criteria and ~:ecommend approval/denial/tabling the conditional use permit ~equest to the Ramsey City Council. The following motions are presented for your consideration: Motion by and seconded by to adopt findings of fact regarding Waste Management, Inc. application for a conditional use permit. Motion carried. Voting yes Voting no__ Motion by and seconded by to recommend approval/denial/tabling the conditional use permit application of Waste Management, Inc. to expand and operate a sanitary landfill in the City of Ramsey to the Ramsey City Council.
